Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Operations Assistant with a foundational knowledge of construction and expertise in Microsoft Project. This remote role seeks a virtual assistant adept at managing schedules, ensuring organizational excellence, and coordinating essential operational elements such as permits, insurance, and subcontractor relationships.
Note: A Bachelor’s degree in Administration or Engineering, combined with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Project, is vital for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and overseeing project schedules.
  • Coordinating permits, insurance, and subcontractor engagements.
  • Problem-solving construction-related challenges using basic engineering principles.
  • Building comprehensive project timelines and schedules.
  • Delegating simple tasks while prioritizing and managing personal workloads.
  • Coordinating subcontracts and ensuring the completeness of contract documents.

Technical knowledge & skills required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration or Engineering.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Project, and Outlook.
  • Ability to build and manage complex schedules.
  • Experience coordinating subcontracts and understanding contract documents.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a readiness to adopt new technologies.

  • Availability from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST.
