Plumbing Engineer Specialist (Texas)
Job Description
This position is for a remote Plumbing Engineer with expertise in designing and implementing plumbing systems for residential and commercial properties. Familiarity with Revit software and the ability to ensure plumbing designs adhere to building codes and regulations are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing plumbing systems for residential and commercial buildings.
- Selection of suitable pipe diameters and materials.
- Modeling plumbing systems using Revit software.
- Calculating loads for plumbing and pumping setups.
- Collaboration with architects and other design professionals.
- Ensuring designs meet plumbing codes and regulations.
- Inspection of plumbing systems for quality and adherence to specifications.
Technical knowledge & skills required
- Expertise in designing plumbing systems for residential and commercial properties.
- Water supply and distribution understanding.
- Knowledge of drainage and waste removal.
- Proficiency in Revit software.
- Ability to interpret construction blueprints and diagrams.
- Experience with energy-efficient plumbing systems.
