Revit Architectural Engineer/Architect (Texas)
Job Description
Seeking a civil engineer or architect proficient in Revit architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the design team to produce drawings and takeoffs using the Revit Architecture package.
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer-based drawing software, primarily Revit and AutoCAD.
- Conduct straightforward calculations and drafting related to construction details.
- Create shop drawings derived from provided structural and architectural plans and sketches.
- Engage and communicate effectively with the design team, sales division, architects, designers, and contractors to acquire accurate technical data for each project.
- Deliver regular updates on drawing progress and manage workload effectively.
- Conduct component-based material takeoffs from finalized shop drawings.
Technical knowledge & skills required
- Experience in design (considered an advantage).
- Professional proficiency as a Structural/Architectural Revit-CAD Designer with foundational knowledge in construction or architecture.
- Mandatory experience and skill in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD software.
- Detailed understanding of the structural and architectural design process.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents derived from structural and architectural drawings.
