HVAC Engineer (New Jersey)
Job Description
We are looking for an HVAC Engineer with strong design and drafting experience. This position is only for Engineers who have demonstrated expertise in HVAC Design/Drafting. Please note that only candidates with drafting/design experience will be considered.
As an HVAC Engineer, you will work on various tasks including preparing and obtaining approval for HVAC shop drawings, work method statement, MEP-coordination drawing, and project specifications. You'll also ensure safety in drawings and take-offs of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in compliance with set rules and regulations.
IMPORTANT: We will require immediate availability as this position needs to be filled urgently. ADVANCED ENGLISH IS MANDATORY FOR THIS POSITION.
Technical knowledge & skills required
- Advanced English Knowledge: upper intermediate, advanced or proficient.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in HVAC Engineering.
- Proven experience in HVAC design, calculations and drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Knowledge of HVAC rules and safety regulations.
- Experience in preparing and obtaining approval for HVAC shop drawings, work method statement, MEP-coordination drawings, and project specifications.
- Experience in attending and providing updates in weekly and monthly project meetings.
