Job Description
Join our dynamic team as an Operations Assistant with a foundational knowledge of construction and expertise in Microsoft Project. This remote role seeks a virtual assistant adept at managing schedules, ensuring organizational excellence, and coordinating essential operational elements such as permits, insurance, and subcontractor relationships.
Note: A Bachelor’s degree in Administration or Engineering, combined with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Project, is vital for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and overseeing project schedules.
- Coordinating permits, insurance, and subcontractor engagements.
- Problem-solving construction-related challenges using basic engineering principles.
- Building comprehensive project timelines and schedules.
- Delegating simple tasks while prioritizing and managing personal workloads.
- Coordinating subcontracts and ensuring the completeness of contract documents.
Technical knowledge & skills required
- Bachelor’s degree in Administration or Engineering.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Project, and Outlook.
- Ability to build and manage complex schedules.
- Experience coordinating subcontracts and understanding contract documents.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a readiness to adopt new technologies.
