Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated drafter with expertise in plumbing and fire detection, particularly with experience in SprinkCAD.
Note: A firm grasp on SprinkCAD, coupled with proficiency in AutoCAD and specialized drawing interpretation, will be essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpreting specialized drawings related to plumbing and fire detection systems.
- Creating detailed 3D piping models.
- Performing hydraulic calculations.
- Designing and fabricating sprinkler systems.
- Calculating water distribution and timing.
- Understanding drainage, fire, and water supply systems comprehensively.
- Engaging in effective communication with clients.
- Managing client-specified formats.
- Overseeing and designing workflow processes.
Technical knowledge & skills required
- Advanced ability to read and interpret specialized drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience with SprinkCAD.
- Familiarity with Revit (considered a plus).
